Useless Cooking Tools: The Egg Cuber

Do you love eggs but hate that they're just so egg-shaped? Are you terrified they'll roll off the table and under the couch and who knows what will happen then? If you love protein but can't handle the excitement of an egg without corners, maybe you need an Egg Cuber.

The Egg Cuber is an easy-to-use tool for making hardboiled eggs square. Just pop a peeled, still-warm hardboiled egg into the square cup, put on the lid, and crank down the "cubing plate." It will squish the egg into a nice little cube shape. Allow the egg to cool, and when you take it out it will be a nice, room-temperature hardboiled egg, shaped like a cube. (By the way, each egg takes a couple hours this way.)

What's that you say? You prefer your eggs egg-shaped?
